Scholarship Description: Degree Level, Eligibility, Subjects and Financial Coverage
Canada McCall MacBain Scholarship Summer/Fall 2025 (Fully Funded) is open to Domestic Students and International Students. The scholarship allows Masters, Undergraduate level programme(s) in the field of All Subjects checked below taught at Canadian universities.
Degree Level:
To be eligible for the McCall MacBain Scholarship in 2025, you must be planning to seek admission for the Summer/Fall 2025 term in a full-time master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University. The selected program should encompass 45 credits or more and be primarily conducted on either McGill’s downtown or Macdonald campuses.

Second-Entry Professional Undergraduate Degrees:
It's important to note that the McCall MacBain Scholarships do not cover graduate certificates, executive master’s programs (EMBA, IMHL), PhDs, or joint degree programs. Students in qualifying-year programs can apply at the beginning of their qualifying year for the master’s degree at McGill.

Full Coverage:
- Tuition and fees throughout the standard duration of the master’s or professional program.
Generous Stipend:
- A substantial living stipend of $2,000 per month provided during academic terms.
Relocation Assistance:
- A one-time grant for relocation upon moving to Montréal.
Summer Enrichment Opportunities:
- For scholars not engaged in academic terms during the summer, there is an opportunity to apply for funding of up to $5,000 to pursue meaningful and enriching summer experiences.
Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to Canadian or U.S. citizens, or international students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria:
For the McCall MacBain Scholarship in Canada for the 2025 academic year, eligibility is determined by the following criteria:
Nationality Requirement:
- Candidates must be either Canadian or U.S. citizens, or international students to be considered eligible for the scholarship.
Age Criteria:
- The ideal candidate should be less than 30 years old at the time of application.
Academic Status:
- Applicants should be current students on track to earn their first bachelor’s degree by August 2025.
Timeframe for First Bachelor’s Degree:
- Candidates must have earned their first bachelor’s degree within the last five years (from January 2019 onwards).
OR
- If the first bachelor’s degree was obtained more than five years ago, applicants should still be 30 years or younger in the year 2024.
Language Proficiency and Thesis Requirement:
- To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must pass an English proficiency test.
- Higher chances of enrollment can be achieved if candidates have a thesis in French.
