- Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents:PhD from Abroad: Must hold the fellowship at a Canadian institution.
- PhD in Canada: Can hold the fellowship at a Canadian or international institution.
Degree Completion:
- PhD, PhD-equivalent, or health professional degree required.
- Completion window: September 15, 2021 - September 30, 2025 (inclusive).
- Degree completion proof required by October 15, 2025 (if not already completed).
