Financial Support:

• Living Stipend: The amount awarded depends on your academic level:

1. 1. Doctoral candidates: €1,200 per month
   2. Postdoctoral researchers: €2,000 per month
   3. (Assistant) professors: €2,150 per month

• Insurance Coverage: The scholarship includes health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
• Additional Benefits (Potential): In some cases, scholarship holders may be eligible for a monthly rent subsidy

Eligible Nationalities for DAAD-Bridge Scholarship:

Iranian citizens with no dual citizenship can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for DAAD-Bridge Scholarship:

• Doctoral Studies: You must be an accepted doctoral candidate at a German public university or a recognized research institution. Alternatively, you can have written confirmation from a German supervisor for your doctoral project.
• Postdoctoral Research/Lectureship: You may apply if you have a letter of invitation from a German public university or research institution for a postdoctoral research position or university lecturer role.
• Residency: Ideally, you should already be in Germany with a valid residence permit by the application deadline.
• Time in Germany: While there's a preference for applicants who haven't been in Germany for more than 15 months by the deadline, this doesn't exclude those who came for studies, doctoral work, or other academic projects.
