Eligibility Criteria for DAAD-Bridge Scholarship:
- Doctoral Studies: You must be an accepted doctoral candidate at a German public university or a recognized research institution. Alternatively, you can have written confirmation from a German supervisor for your doctoral project.
- Postdoctoral Research/Lectureship: You may apply if you have a letter of invitation from a German public university or research institution for a postdoctoral research position or university lecturer role.
- Residency: Ideally, you should already be in Germany with a valid residence permit by the application deadline.
- Time in Germany: While there's a preference for applicants who haven't been in Germany for more than 15 months by the deadline, this doesn't exclude those who came for studies, doctoral work, or other academic projects.
