Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) offers up to three years of financial backing for graduate studies at Stanford University. This support covers the cost of the program you choose when you apply.
What's Included in Your Scholarship Package?
- Tuition and Fees Covered: A fellowship will be directly applied to your tuition and associated fees, leaving you free to focus on your studies.
- Living Expenses Stipend: You'll receive a stipend to help manage everyday costs like housing, food, books, and course materials. It also covers local transportation and personal expenses.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Academic Background:
- Must be enrolled in a Stanford graduate degree program (excluding those starting in 2023).
- Hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution earned after January 2016 (January 2014 for veterans).
Personal Qualities:
- Demonstrate independence of thought, leadership abilities, and a civic mindset.
English Language Proficiency:
- Possess a valid IELTS or TOEFL score unless your undergraduate degree was in English.
