The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) 2025 program, offered by Global Affairs Canada, provides an excellent opportunity for students from ASEAN countries to pursue short-term study or research in Canada. This fully funded scholarship covers tuition fees, travel expenses, health insurance, and living costs. The application deadline is March 31, 2025, and selected students must arrive in Canada between August 1, 2025, and October 1, 2025.

Benefits
The Canada-ASEAN SEED scholarship covers the following expenses:
- $10,200 for a 4-month exchange program at undergraduate, college, or graduate levels
- Visa or study/work permit fees
- Round-trip airfare (most economical route)
- Health insurance during the stay in Canada
- Living expenses (accommodation, food, transportation)
- Books and academic supplies (excluding computers and electronic devices)
- $500 administrative support for Canadian institutions
Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to international students from ASEAN Countries.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Canada-ASEAN SEED Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens of an ASEAN member state, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam.
- Be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an ASEAN country.
- Pay tuition fees to their home institution during the scholarship period.
- Not hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a pending Canadian visa application.
- Not be currently participating in another Government of Canada-funded scholarship.
